About us

The Avenues Trust Group is a small group of charitable organisations, which operates on a not-for-profit basis. All income is reinvested into the Group and the services and support it provides to people.

Our 2,000 staff support 750+ people, most of whom have multiple or complex needs, or behaviour that challenges.

We have a fundamental belief in community-based support, and are experienced in working with commissioners on complex transitions from secure hospitals and assessment and treatment units.

This is driven by our vision, that everyone should have the opportunity to be an active citizen and engaged in the community where they live.

It's our shared expectation that all our services maintain a Good or Outstanding overall rating from the CQC, which is the regulator for social care in the UK.

Our hubs in London, the South East, East of England and West Midlands benefit from being part of a larger organisation, while retaining the flexibility to work in ways that meet local needs.

Our depth of expertise enables us to offer children, young people, adults and older people the right level of support at the right times so they can develop or retain maximum independence throughput life. Our support changes as people’s lives change, but is always fundamentally based in the principles of Active Support and Positive Behaviour Support.
