Welmede, part of the Avenues Trust Group, is a specialist provider of adult social care, supporting people with complex needs to enjoy life.


We are looking for an assistant service manager to join our team in Elmbridge covering Walton and Weybridge to assist with management of our Elmbridge Supported Living service.

The Elmbridge Supported Living service provides both shared and 1:1 support to around 17 service users across the Walton and Weybridge area living in their own homes and operates 365 days a year. We strive to support our service users to live the life that they want and be an active part of their local community with supporting them with shopping, cooking, finances, promoting personal care and booking trips and holidays. This position will include responsibility for the management and coordination of the support hours within the service alongside providing day to day support to the people we support.


Our services are shaped around each person, and we work with their families and other professionals to understand what they need. We then support them with everyday activities like taking a shower, making a cup of tea, or trying something new.

And it’s also about working with them on bigger decisions, like where they want to live, or who they want to build relationships with. 

Due to the nature of this position it is essential for applicants to hold a full valid driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.

  • hold a full valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle for business purposes

  • have experience of managing teams of up to 5 people

  • be flexible to work between 7am and 7pm, across a 7 day rota.
