Avenues is a specialist provider of social care, supporting people with complex needs to enjoy life.

We are looking for a part time Project Coordinator to join our Community Support Services (CSS) in Suffolk which supports children, young people and adults who have learning disabilities, acquired brain Injury, physical disabilities, sensory impairments and complex health needs.

The CSS Support includes outreach support, daytime activity groups, social groups and short breaks and events.

As Project Coordinator, you will effectively plan, develop and deliver a range of leisure, sport and social activities providing the highest quality of customer service to meet the needs of the people we support, families/carers, local authorities, the people and organisations that fund our work. You will also be responsible for project coordination including administrative tasks, budgets, service delivery, evaluations and reviews. 


Our services are shaped around each person, and we work with their families and other professionals to understand what they need.

Due to the nature of this role it is essential for the successful applicant to hold a full valid driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.


This role is part time – 22.5 hours per week.

What skills and expertise will you need?

  • Hold a full valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Be willing to lone work
  • Ideally have experience within the social care background and supporting people with learning disabilities and/or complex needs

  • be flexible to work across days, evening, weekends and bank holidays.
