We have an exciting opportunity for two part time Team Secretaries for our Welmede team to provide an efficient and effective secretarial and administrative support service to Area Managers and Service Managers and their teams.

The Avenues Group is a specialist provider of adult social care, supporting people with complex needs to enjoy life and to live independently.

30 hours per week - Monday to Friday 

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities;

  • To provide full secretarial support for managers and operational staff and to support the PA to the Regional Director
  • To undertake all aspects of diary, meeting and activity management for Area and their teams
  • To minute meetings as required
  • To assist in the development, collation and distribution of a range of documents including easy read
  • To maintain internal databases and where required produce reports from the databases
  • To liaise and consult with internal functions and external agencies as relevant to specific projects
  • To provide/share reception cover as required
  • To carry out any other duties as required

 Performance Indicators

  • All actions as required to provide an effective secretarial and administrative support service to subsidiary in an accurate and timely manner maintaining confidentiality at all times
  • Internal records are maintained in an accurate and timely manner to enable accurate information to be produced when required.
  • Objectives set and agreed with the line manager are met

What skills and expertise will you need?
  • Experience of IT systems, databases and MS Office
  • Previous secretarial experience and strong office administration skills
  • Experience of working as part of a team and supporting colleagues
  • Able to prioritise own workload and be self-motivated
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Able to work under pressure and respond to frequently changing work patterns, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Attention to detail
  • Consistently demonstrates confidentiality and sensitivity
