Avenues is a specialist provider of social care, supporting people with complex needs to enjoy life.

We are looking for a full-time support workers to join the team at our Young People Support service which supports people aged 6-25, who may be on the autism spectrum, across Kent and Medway.

Support will include community/social activities, education, learning, developing life skills, and relationships with peers.

Working hours are usually Monday to Saturday and workers have 1 or 2 Saturdays off a month. Hours also start around 8am/9am and latest finish is 6pm/7pm (this might change depending on the needs of the service).

Our services are shaped around each person, and we work with their families and other professionals to understand what they need. We then support them with everyday activities like taking a shower, making a cup of tea, or trying something new.

Due to the nature of this role it is essential for successful applicants to hold a full valid UK driving licence, to have access to their own vehicle, and to have business insurance.

An essential user allowance is paid to staff for using their own vehicles.
