We build support around each person, their needs, goals and aspirations. Our starting point is always getting to know someone because the support planning process will differ according to their needs, preferences and personality.
Quality is of paramount importance to us. We select employees based on their aptitude for support work and, regardless of previous experience, they complete a range of training with us, both mandatory and specific to their role. We carry out regular quality monitoring in our services so we know how things are going and to promote a culture of continuous improvement. Our services are registered with the Care Quality Commission as required and are subject to inspection against its standards. Avenues’ size and structure means that we are easily able to share our wide ranging expertise, experience and good practice across the organisation.
